Lacy remained an extremely important asset to the Bulldog team in her junior year on the vault, beam, and floor. Her biggest impact came in the vault, where she placed second at the Ivy Classic with a score of 9.825, breaking the Yale record she set in her freshman year. She also placed third at the ECAC Championships, one of three third-place finishes on the season for her. Her performance was enough to earn first team All-ECAC recognition on vault. She was named ECAC Scholar Athlete. In 2002, Lacy finished first on the vault at the ECAC Championships. Her other personal bests include a 9.90 on floor and 9.80 on beam. She was a member of Yale's Ivy Classic championship team in her sophomore year.
Before coming to Yale, Lacy was a two-time Junior Olympics national competitor for Flips Gymnastics, placing 12th in the all-around in 2001. She is a graduate of Tomball High School.
