Naito secured her position as a consistent asset to the uneven bars line-up last season. She has a personal best of 9.75 in the event. Though limited by an ankle injury, she has also been able to showcase her talents on the vault and floor exercise. She set a personal best of 9.525 on the vault in a meet at Towson. She was a member of the Ivy Classic championship team in her sophomore year. Before coming to Yale, she was a strong level 10 competitor who captured the Valley Gymnastics championship. She is a graduate of Madera High School.
