Yale Repeats Win Over Southern Connecticut and MIT

Senior Kathryn Fong, who finished first on the uneven bars in last week's match against Southern and MIT, exhibited enormous consistency on her strongest event. Fong once again captured first on the uneven bars with a 9.6. Teammate Suchitra Paul came in second with a 9.3. Fong also triumphed on the beam, scoring a 9.450 to win first place. The judges awarded Anne McPherson second on beam with a 9.3. McPherson also exhibited the team's strongest showing in the all-around competition, placing third with an overall score of 36.125. The Yale failed to capture an individual first place on the vault, but made up by sweeping second to fifth place. Miki Seltzer led the team with a score of 9.4. Jessica Tai and Christine Lacy were both awarded third place with a 9.35, and Kristen Campbell rounded out the top five with a 9.325.
