    Emma Vlasic fired in a goal while collecting two assists in Friday’s tie against Quinnipiac. With another game on the weekend slate, Vlasic decided to continue her hot streak. Vlasic scored twice, first year forward Greta Skarzynski assisted both, and Gianna Meloni stopped 36 shots in Saturday’s 2-2 tie against Penn State.

    A vigorous comeback fell just short of astounding victory on Friday afternoon for the Yale Bulldogs. Facing off against the Quinnipiac Bobcats in the first round of the Nutmeg Classic, the Bulldogs fell 4-3 in a shootout. The game will go down as a tie for both teams after finishing overtime with a 3-3 score.
