Former Yale Forward Taken by CWHL Team
TORONTO, Ont. – Eden Murray '18, a four-year standout for the Yale Hockey Team, was selected by the Calgary Inferno at the 2018 Canadian Women's Hockey League (CWHL) Draft this past weekend.
The forward from Medicine Hat, Alta., had an outstanding career with the Bulldogs that included being named to the All-Ivy League Team and other conference and tournament awards. Murray, who was limited to seven games last winter because of an injury, skated in 97 Yale games overall while scoring 25 goals and notching 69 points.
She had an extensive experience with the Canadian National Program before coming to Yale. Murray skated for the Under-18 team in 2012-13 that won a gold medal at the World Championships in Helsinki, Finland.
