Yale Skaters Getting Ready

The Bulldogs will be aiming for a third straight appearance in the ECAC Hockey Playoffs when they drop the puck on the 2018-19 regular season in less than eight weeks.

The Yale women's team. led by captain and senior forward Emma Vlasic, opens at Princeton on Oct. 26, the first of 29 regular-season contests. A week later, the home slate begins when the Big Red of Cornell come to the Whale on Nov. 2.

The Nutmeg Classic at ingalls Rink is another highlight on the 2018-19 schedule. The Blue takes on Providence in the first round on Nov. 23 at New Haven. Quinnipiac and Connecticut square off in the other first-round game at Ingalls. The winners and losers play the next day.

For the first time since 2013, six-time NCAA Champions Minnesota comes to Ingalls for a weekend set on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1.

Joakim Flygh, Yale's Susan Cavanagh Head Coach, and the Elis look to improve on a 10-17-4 overall record from 2017-18. The first look at the new squad in action at home is Oct. 13 at 2 p.m. with an exhibition against McGill.
