Bulldogs Open Second Half with Tuesday Game

New Haven, CONN. The Elis open up the second half of the season with a stand-alone game against the University of New Hampshire on Tuesday at Ingalls Rink. The Wildcats (6-9-4) head into this weekend with a matchup against #10 Boston College before Tuesday's tilt with the Yale Women's hockey team. The previous meeting between these teams saw UNH pick up a 3-2 OT win against the Bulldogs last season. Puck drop is slated for 6 p.m. on Tuesday and available to stream on ESPN+ and Stretch Internet (International).

LAST TIME OUT

The Yale women's hockey team ended the first half of the season, splitting a pair of games against Vermont in early December. First-year forwards Claire Dalton and Rebecca Vanstone both recorded season highs with three points on two goals and an assist on Dec. 8 against the Catamounts. Dalton sealed the 6-4 win for the Bulldogs when she buried a late, third-period penaly shot. Sophomore forward Greta Skarzynski also had a two-goal performance, and sophomore netminder Gianna Meloni recorded her first win of the season.

NEW HAMPSHIRE

The Wildcats ended the first half of the season on a seven-game unbeaten streak, most recently, tying Harvard 2-2 on Dec. 8.

LEAD SCORERS

First-year forward Rebecca Vanstone took over as the Bulldogs' lead scorer with six goals in the first half. Vanstone and senior captain Emma Vlasic both have 10 points. Vlasic, Claire Dalton, Greta Skarzynski, Charlotte Welch and Saroya Tinker all have five assists on the year.
