Matt Voity, a goaltending specialist with more than 10 years of experience in NCAA hockey, joined the Yale women’s ice hockey staff as a volunteer coach in October of 2018.
Voity brings years of elite goaltender training and development to the Bulldogs, having worked with more than a dozen professional goaltenders. Most recently, he was a volunteer coach at American International College, his second stint with the program.
From 2014-16, Voity was a goaltending coach at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He also spent three years (2010-13) with Connecticut College after assisting several prep schools and local programs.
Voity earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2003 from Western Connecticut State University, where he was a goaltender for the club hockey team.
