Yale senior defenseman Erin Duggan was named ECACHL Player of the Week for her work this past weekend on Yale's trip to Ohio State.
Duggan, the team captain, scored four of Yale's six goals in the two-game set, including a hat trick on Friday. She also had an assist that night on the game-tying goal with 22 seconds left in regulation. Her five-point weekend gives her nine points over her last six games, and the four goals move her into seventh all-time at Yale in that category (36). She also moved into fourth place all-time in points (92). The hat trick was her second of the season and the third by a Bulldogs this year (Jenna Spring had the other). Duggan is the second Yale player to earn ECACHL Player of the Week honors, following Sheila Zingler. Sarah Love has won ECACHL Goalie of the Week honors twice.
Also honored by the conference was freshman defenseman Helen Resor, who was selected to the honor roll. Resor had three assists for the weekend.
