NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Yale women's ice hockey captain Kristin Savard (Framingham, Mass.) was honored during the first intermission of the Yale men's ice hockey game vs. Dartmouth Sunday afternoon with the presentation of her Hockey Humanitarian Finalist trophy. Savard is one of five finalists nationwide for the award, which is presented annually to college hockey's finest citizen. The 12th winner of the award will be announced at the men's ice hockey Frozen Four in St. Louis Apr. 6. The Mellon Financial Corporation is the award's presenting sponsor.
