Resor Named Second Team All-Ivy

March 7, 2007

Sophomore defenseman Helen Resor (Greenwich, Conn.) has been named second team All-Ivy League. She finished fifth on the team in overall scoring (5-15-20) despite missing seven games -- two while playing for Team USA at the Four Nations Cup in November and five while recovering from an injury in January.

Resor, a member of Team USA at the Olympics last year, had three goals and four assists for seven points in the seven Ivy League games she played this year. She was named second team All-ECAC last week, becoming just the third Bulldog to accomplish that feat. She was second among conference defensemen in scoring in ECAC play (1.00 ppg, 5-13-18 in 18 conference games).
