Bulldogs Place School-Record 21 on ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Yale had a league-high and school-record 21 student-athletes named to the ECAC Hockey League All-Academic team Wednesday, including 11 players who were honored for the third consecutive season. All eight seniors made the list, highlighted by forward Danielle Kozlowski (Melrose, Mass.), who was also a two-time finalist for the ECAC Hockey Student-Athlete of the Year award.

Kozlowski is one of 11 three-time honorees on the list for Yale, including sophomore defenseman Alyssa Clarke (Donkin, N.S.), junior forward/defenseman Berit Johnson (Wayzata, Minn.), junior forward Caroline Murphy (Woodstock, Conn.), senior forward/defenseman Carry Resor (Westwood, Mass.), senior defenseman Helen Resor (Greenwich, Conn.), junior forward Mandi Schwartz (Wilcox, Sask.), junior forward Denise Soesilo (Hamburg, Germany), senior forward Kristen Stupay (Ashburn, Va.), senior forward Sarah Tittman (Chilton, Wisc.) and senior forward Maggie Westfal (New Canaan, Conn.).

Players are eligible for the ECAC Hockey All-Academic team if they earned a cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.00 on a 4.00 scale or have an average GPA of 3.00 over the past three semesters.

Yale's previous high was 19 players honored, after the 2006-2007 season.
