Yale is part of the first-ever national game of the week Internet broadcast schedule for NCAA women's hockey, announced by USCHO.com Friday. The Bulldogs' game at Princeton on Wednesday, November 24 (7:00 PM) is one of 21 regular-season games on the slate. Fans will be able to access the live game feeds through the broadcast schedule soon to be linked from the USCHO women's homepage, www.uscho.com/women.
Brian Schulz will handle the Internet broadcast play-by-play. Schulz called men's and women's hockey games for Harvard from 1999-2001, and also broadcast the 2001 and 2004 World Women's Hockey Championships. USCHO.com, in its seventh year of operation, provides coverage of women's college hockey with weekly columns, features, results, schedules and recaps.
In other on-line coverage news, the Bulldogs are planning to make all of their home games, and all ECACHL road games, available via "Gametracker" this season. Gametracker allows fans to get live stat updates from games and will be available through a link on www.yalebulldogs.com and the new ECACHL website, www.ecachockeyleague.com.
The Yale radio station, WYBC 1340 AM, will announce its game coverage schedule shortly. Games broadcast on WYBC can be heard on-line at www.wybc.com.
