NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Yale Athletics Department will test live video streaming from Ingalls Rink for Saturday's women's hockey game against No. 8 Harvard (4:00 p.m. EST) on yalebulldogs.com. Fans may access this video feed for free by clicking on the "Watch" link in the women's hockey schedule section of the yalebulldogs.com home page or by clicking here, then registering. The department asks fans to please be patient with any technical difficulties that may occur during this free test.
This is the first time that live video streaming from Ingalls Rink has been attempted on yalebulldogs.com. This is a one-camera shoot utilizing the coach's camera that shoots from the press box and pans back and forth to follow the action. There will be no audio commentary. Fans can also follow the game using live stat updates on GameTracker by clicking here.
In order to view the video stream, fans will need to be running Micrsoft Internet Expolorer 6.0 or 7.0 with Windows Media Player 9 or 10, available for download at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/10/default.aspx.
