Pair of Incoming Freshmen Recognized by Inside Lacrosse

DeVito, Tarver Listed Among Nation's Best Recruits

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Two incoming Yale women's lacrosse freshmen have been recognized by Inside Lacrosse as part of that publication's special recruiting issue. Attacker Jen DeVito (Wading River, N.Y.) was ranked No. 17 on the list of the top 25 incoming recruits in the country, and midfielder Adrienne Tarver (Pikesville, Md.) was listed as a player to watch.

DeVito, the second-highest ranked Ivy League recruit on Inside Lacrosse's top 25 list, was an Under Armour All-American and a US Lacrosse All-American this past season at Shoreham-Wading River. She won the New York State championship, the Long Island championship and the Suffolk county championship each year she played.

Tarver, one of eight Ivy League recruits on Inside Lacrosse's watch list, was also an Under Armour All-American and a US Lacrosse All-American this past season. Her Park School of Baltimore team played in three title games and won back-to-back IAAM B Conference championships in 2009 and 2010.

The duo is part of a 10-member incoming class for Yale.
