McNally made an immediate contribution last season, appearing in 14 games and starting five. She a four-sport captain at Northport High. She participated in lacrosse and field hockey all four years, and was a member of the track and basketball teams. McNally led her lacrosse team to league titles in both 2001 and 2002, and in 2002 the squad was Suffolk County champions. A two-time Academic All-America, she was an All-America Honorable Mention her senior season. She was also named All-County and Defensive Most Valuable Player in her final year.
