Melniker returns as one of Yale's best offensive weapons. Although an explosive scorer (fifth on the team in total points last year with 27), she will also be counted on to make significant contributions in Yale's defensive scheme. As a sophomore she was fifth on the team with 20 points. In her freshman season she was fourth on the team in goals scored with 18 and fourth in points with 26.
