NEW HAVEN, Conn. – This weekend marks the season finale for the Bulldogs as they travel to Connecticut College to compete in the Women's Atlantic Coast Championships. This will be the most competitive event of the season, with a level of competition close to the college nationals.
Sailing for the Bulldogs will be senior skipper Casey Klingler with first-year crew Claudia Loiacono in A division. In B division will be sophomore skipper Louisa Nordstrom with crews senior KB Knapp, senior Claire Huebner, and first-year Cate Mollerus. Sophomore skipper Chrissie Klingler will also be prepared to sail.
Conditions for the weekend look extremely cold with little wind. After a cold front pushes through on Friday, temperatures will only reach the low 40s on Saturday with a northwest breeze around 10 mph. Conditons for Sunday look marginal, with the possibility of a light southerly breeze filling in at the end of the day.
