ST MARY'S, MD – After a productive week of training in St. Petersburg, Florida the Bulldogs are headed to Maryland to compete in the first intersectional event of the season, the St. Mary's Women's Interconference.
With many of the top teams in the country headed down to this event, this will be a good indicator of where the Bulldogs stand at the beginning of the season.
Unfortunately, the forecast does not look optimal for racing, with extremely light winds out of the west - southwest around 5 mph on Saturday and winds out of the northwest at 5 mph on Sunday.
Sailing for the Bulldogs in A division will be sophomore Louisa Nordstrom with senior crews KB Knapp and Claire Huebner. In B division, sophomore Chrissie Klingler will be sailing with first year Cate Mollerus.
Racing will begin at 9:00 a.m. tomorrow and can be followed live at http://scores.collegesailing.org/s18/st-mary-women-interconference/rotations/.
