Macky Wins NE Singlehanded Championships

BRISTOL, R.I. - In a dying northwesterly wind on Sunday at Roger Williams University, Jane Macky '09 took first in the NE Singlehanded Championships with a two-day total of 96 points.
Sarah Lihan '10 and Kate Hagemann '09 also competed for the Bulldogs in the Regatta. Lihan skippered the Yale1 boat to sixth place in the 25-team race with a 151-point total, and Kate Hagemann guided the Yale2 boat to a tenth-place finish with 191 points.
Up next for Yale is this weekend's Regis Bowl, hosted by Boston University.
