Demaree made a successful return last fall after missing all but one game in 2003 because of injury. She helped anchor a Yale defense that allowed only 18 goals. As a freshman in 2001, she made an immediate impact. In the first game of her career, Demaree assisted on two goals in a 5-0 Yale victory over Sacred Heart. Her first career goal came in a 3-0 victory over Providence. At Valley High School, Demaree was a first-team Southern Nevada selection as well as her team's MVP.
