Before Yale: Sea View League most valuable player as a senior at San Clemente High School… Two-time first team all-league selection… Batted .453 with a team-best eight home runs last spring… Also led team in hits and doubles… San Clemente’s Player of the Year as a senior and Offensive Player of the Year in her junior year… Team co-captain as a senior… Helped San Clemente to the 2012 league championship… Played club softball for the California Cruisers and the American Athletics.

Personal: Volunteers one week each summer at an orphanage in Ensenada, Mexico, where her mother is from.
