2013: Enjoyed one of the most remarkable seasons in Yale history… Named the Ivy League Player of the Year, the first Yale player to win the award since Seema Hingorani in 1991… First team All-Ivy catcher… NFCA All-Northeast Region second team selection… Finished fourth in the nation in doubles per game (0.4), ninth in slugging percentage (.852) and 21st in batting average (.430)… Led the Ivy League in batting average, slugging percentage (.852), on base percentage (.497), runs scored (37), hits (64), doubles (19), home runs (14) and total bases (127)… 127 total bases were the second most in Ivy history, .852 slugging percentage was the third highest and the 14 home runs tied for the fifth most in a season… Set Yale single-season school records in hits (64), doubles (19) and home runs (14)… Her .430 average tied her with Jennifer Fong (1993) for the highest in school history… Started all but one game behind the plate… Had a 20-game hitting streak during the season, the fourth longest in Ivy League history... Off the Field: Worked as an assistant counselor with the program Aspire through Mass General Hospital, working to provide therapy for kids with Asperger's Syndrome, autistic spectrum disorders, and other related challenges (Summer 2013)… Research Intern in Psychology Department for Stacey Blase, a Ph.D candidate, studying writing interventions in the treatment of stress and anxiety (2012-present). ..Works as Varsity Sports Statistician for Yale Athletics at women's volleyball and men's and women's basketball games (2011- present)… Beat reporter for the Yale Daily News, mainly covering women's basketball (2012)...Youth catching instructor with New England Camp of Hudson, NH… Member of Kiphuth Leadership Academy: Student leaders on Yale Varsity Athletic teams work together with their peers to learn, develop and practice skills associated with successful leadership qualities
