Edwards was a four-time all-conference selection at Loyola Academy. She earned honorable mention all-state recognition as a senior when she batted .443 with 51 hits, 13 doubles and 30 RBI. Additionally, Edwards was a two-time team most valuable player and was twice selected as a Gatorade Will-To-Win Athlete. Kathleen is the daughter of Brian and Susan Edwards. Her father played football and baseball at Carroll College.
