Haab suffered an injury early in the season that limited her to 22 games in 2006. Her top performance came in the second game of a doubleheader against Wagner when she had two hits, including a double, and reached base in all four of her plate appearances. She also had a clutch RBI in a win over Providence. The biggest hit of her career was a grand slam against Harvard in her sophomore year. That season, she was fourth on the team in runs scored (10) and doubles (3) and tied for third in walks (10) and home runs (1). Haab earned honorable mention All-Ivy recognition in her rookie season. She tied for second on the team in home runs (3) and was fifth in RBI (11) and seventh in doubles (6). Her first career home run came at Stetson, and she went 2-for-3 with two runs and an RBI in a victory over Sacred Heart. At Sarasota High School, Haab was the defensive MVP and team captain as a senior. She earned the coaches' award as a freshman. Haab played volleyball as a freshman and sophomore. She was named a scholar-athlete in each of her four years. At Yale, Nicole resides in Calhoun College. She is the daughter of Ken and Donna Haab.
