Kozlowski, who joined the team at the conclusion of the women's hockey season, was the recipient of the Coaches Award, which is bestowed upon the player who represents the ideals of Yale Softball that go beyond statistics; the player who has shown commitment and dedication through her actions on and off the field, whether as a role player or a starter. She started 13 games, mostly in the outfield. Her top performance came in a doubleheader at Fairleigh Dickinson. She was 2-for-4 with a pair of RBI in the first game and 2-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI in the second game. Kozlowski was a four-time all-league selection at Buckingham Browne & Nichols, which won three Independent School League titles. She had a .595 on base percentage, a .714 slugging percentage and stole 20 bases. Kozlowski also plays ice hockey at Yale. In her freshman year she appeared in all 31 games and had two goals and five assists. At Yale, Danielle resides in Pierson College. She is the daughter of Charles and Diane Kozlowski.
