As a sophomore, Kwiatkowski started 46 games behind the plate, threw out 15 runners trying to steal and tied for the team lead in home runs with three. The highlight of her season came when she belted a game-winning, two-run home run in the bottom of the seventh inning against St. John's.
As a freshman, she was fourth on the team in RBI (12) and fifth in hits (31). In addition, she was the only freshman to start in all 45 games. In the second game of a doubleheader against Pennsylvania she went 3-for-4 with a triple, two runs scored, and five RBI. She also had two other three-hit games.
Kwiatkowski was a two-time all-state selection at Manalapan High School. In 2001, she earned both Player of the Year and Outstanding Athlete honors. She led her team to the Shore Conference League Championship.
At Yale, Kwiatkowski majors in Political Science and resides in Ezra Stiles College. She is the daughter of Mark and Karen Kwiatkowski.
