Lederer made the successful transition from infield to outfield last year. Against Manhattan, she belted a walk-off home run leading off the bottom of the ninth inning to lift the Bulldogs to a 3-2 victory in the first game of a doubleheader. She also had two hits and an RBI in a victory over Columbia.

As a freshman, Lederer started 35 games, mostly at second base. Her best game came against Quinnipiac when she went 2-or-4 with an RBI and a run scored. Her first career home run came at Harvard.

At Saint Agnes Academy, Lederer was an all-state selection at shortstop. She lettered in softball all four years and helped her squad to the state championship in 2001. She also played basketball for three years and earned second-team all-state honors.

At Yale she majors in Political Science and resides in Jonathan Edwards College. She is the daughter of Howard and Kathleen Lederer.
