For her strong performance throughout the season, Coach Reinalda honored Linnenbank with the team's Most Improved Player award, as well as the Barbara Chou Leadership Award.
Linnenbank also enjoyed a solid sophomore campaign. Her top performance came against Fairleigh Dickinson when she pitched 10 innings, allowed only one earned run and struck out six. She also tossed a six-hit shutout in Yale's 4-0 victory over Dayton.
Her first career victory came against Fairfield in her freshman year when she struck out six and allowed only two hits in a 2-1 win. Against St. John's, she pitched a complete game and scattered eight hits in a 3-2 victory.
Linnenbank lettered all four years in softball at Dulles High School. She received first team all-district honors in the outfield and second team all-district honors as a pitcher.
At Yale she majors in American Studies and resides in Ezra Stiles College. She is the daughter of Wes and Donna Linnenbank.
