Linnenbank, voted team captain by her teammates last spring, had a phenomenal junior season for the Bulldogs. The crafty left-hander ended up fifth in the Ivy League in earned run average (2.27), and she was second among Yale pitchers in wins (5) and tied for the team lead in appearances (22). In 111 innings, she struck out 56, allowed just 36 earned runs and opponents batted only .219 against her.

For her strong performance throughout the season, Coach Reinalda honored Linnenbank with the team's Most Improved Player award, as well as the Barbara Chou Leadership Award.

Linnenbank also enjoyed a solid sophomore campaign. Her top performance came against Fairleigh Dickinson when she pitched 10 innings, allowed only one earned run and struck out six. She also tossed a six-hit shutout in Yale's 4-0 victory over Dayton.

Her first career victory came against Fairfield in her freshman year when she struck out six and allowed only two hits in a 2-1 win. Against St. John's, she pitched a complete game and scattered eight hits in a 3-2 victory.

Linnenbank lettered all four years in softball at Dulles High School. She received first team all-district honors in the outfield and second team all-district honors as a pitcher.

At Yale she majors in American Studies and resides in Ezra Stiles College. She is the daughter of Wes and Donna Linnenbank.
