Pavlicek was one of the top newcomers in the Ivy League last year. She earned second team All-Ivy recognition as both a pitcher and designated player and was a three-time Ivy League Rookie of the Week selection. As a pitcher, she led the Bulldogs in ERA (1.50) and strikeouts (71) and tied for the team lead in wins with 10. Her best game came against Hartford when she tossed a four-hitter and struck out a career-high nine. At the plate, she tied for the team lead in home runs with three and was third in RBI with 19. Against Marist she went 2 for 4 with 5 RBI.
At Kempner High School, Pavlicek lettered all four years in softball. She captained the squad her junior and senior years. Pavlicek also lettered in volleyball and ran cross country. At Yale, she resides in Calhoun College. She is the daughter of Darrell and Judy Pavlicek.
