PRINCETON, N.J. - Kristen Schaus pitched a four-hitter and struck out 14 as Princeton topped Yale 8-1 in the second game of a doubleheader at Class of 1895 Field. Megan Enyeart hit her third home run of the season for the Bulldogs, a solo shot in the fifth inning. Christina Cobb-Adams went 3-for-3 with an RBI, and Calli Varner was 2-for-3 with four RBI for the Tigers (18-9, 4-0 Ivy).
Princeton won the first game 16-0 in five innings. Erin Snyder retired all 15 batters she faced and struck out 11. Cobb-Adams, Stephanie Steel and Amanda Erickson homered for Princeton, which had 19 hits in the game.
Rebecca Wojciak pitched well in relief in both games for Yale (21-13). In the opener, she struck out four and allowed one earned run in 2.1 innings, and in the second game, she struck out two and allowed two runs in 3.1 innings.
Cobb-Adams, Varner and Samantha O'Hara homered for the Tigers in the second game.
The games were originally scheduled for Saturday but were pushed back a day because of rain.
The Bulldogs play a doubleheader at Penn on Monday beginning at noon.
