NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The No. 5 Yale Bulldogs defeated the No. 10 Brown Bears 8-1 on Saturday in Providence, R.I.
Yale (9-3, 3-2 Ivy) played well in its final road match of the season, downing an overmatched team from Brown (3-6, 0-4 Ivy). Rhetta Nadas turned in a dominant performance at the No. 4 position, winning 11-3, 11-3, 11-0. No. 1 Sarah Toomey and No. 8 Katie Harrison both rallied from 0-1 holes to win in four games.
Yale will close out its regular season slate of games on Feb. 6 with a home match against undefeated No. 1 Harvard. Video and audio of the match will be available live via Yale All-Access at yalebulldogs.com.
