Undefeated No. 2 Yale To Play Undefeated No. 1 Harvard

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - In the final week of the regular season, the No. 2 Bulldogs (13-0, 5-0 Ivy) will go up against the No. 1 Crimson (8-0, 5-0 Ivy) to determine first place in the Ivy League and probably the country. The Yale women's squash team is coming off of a strong 9-0 victory over No. 10 Brown, while Harvard stayed undefeated with a 7-2 victory over No. 3 Trinity Wednesday night.  Both teams are playing well right now and have done so for the entire season, ensuring that this weekend will feature not only the usual tension and intensity of the Yale-Harvard rivalry, but also the competitiveness of the nation's top two teams.

The matchup (1 p.m. Saturday at Harvard's Barnaby Courts) will also include several intriguing individual matchups.  Yale boasts No. 3 ranked senior Logan Greer, No. 4 senior Sarah Toomey, and No. 10 freshman Millie Tomlinson in the top three spots, while Harvard has the Nos. 1, 7 and 9 ranked players nationally.  However, squash requires team strength from top-to-bottom, and whichever team proves deeper will most likely emerge the victor on Saturday and the favorite to capture the Howe Cup trophy.
