Yale women’s squash started its weekend off with a bang as the Bulldogs defeated No. 16 Middlebury and No. 7 Stanford on Saturday afternoon at the Brady Squash Center. Both performances exhibited a high caliber of play as Yale earned 9-0 victories in the two matches. The Bulldogs put together a top-to-bottom demonstration of their skill as they did not drop a single game over the course of the afternoon, winning all eighteen matches in the minimum three games. Tomorrow, Yale returns to the court to face No. 20 St. Lawrence in its final tune-up before Tuesday’s showdown against No. 2 Trinity. For the second straight week, the Yale women’s squash team will compete three times. The Bulldogs won all three matches they played last week and will look for the same result as they host No. 16 Middlebury, No. 7 Stanford and No. 20 St. Lawrence at the Brady Squash Center.

Yale picked up a 6-3 victory against Cornell on Sunday in a closely fought Ivy League battle. The result gave the Bulldogs their third win of the week and improved Yale’s record to 4-0 overall with two wins and no losses in conference play.

Talbott Announces Class of 2018
This fall, Yale women’s squash will welcome three new recruits to campus. These freshman will look to reinforce a program which lost four seniors from last season’s top nine.
