Elis have big Ivy weekend

NEW HAVEN, Conn. — The Yale Women's Squash Team hosts No. 4 Penn Saturday at the Brady Squash Center, followed by a Sunday match against No. 3 Princeton. Both matches are noon starts and will be broadcasted live on ESPN+.

Penn and Princeton will be the second and third Ivy-League opponents to face the Bulldogs this season, and the first opponents to be ranked higher than Yale, who is No. 6 in the country.

The Bulldogs have not beaten the Tigers since the 2013-14 season and have won only five total matches against them since the 2010-2011 season. The Elis took down the Quakers in a close match last season and have traded victories with them in several matches since the 2010-2011 season.

In the match against Penn, Yale's No. 1 seed Lucy Beecroft, who is undefeated this season, faces a higher-ranked opponent for the first time this season. Reeham Sedky is the No. 2 female in collegiate squash and is ranked No. 66 in the world.

Tune in here to watch this weekend's matches on ESPN+.
