NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The two-time defending national champion and nationally ranked No. 1 Bulldogs (4-0, 2-0 Ivy) disposed of visiting Williams with ease Sunday Afternoon at the Brady Squash Center, winning 9-0.

Playing at No. 5, Nicola Shiels shutout Arianna Kourides, winning 9-0, 9-0, 9-0. Sophomore Katie Mandel matched Shiels' feat, defeating Emily Gladden without relinquishing a point at No. 9.

"The women were focused and played with a lot of energy," head coach Dave Talbott said.

At the top of the ladder, Michelle Quibell defeated Ashley Eyre 9-2, 9-0, 9-0, while at No. 2, sophomore Miranda Ranieri lost only four points in her three-game victory over Kate Whipple.

The Bulldogs return to action against Cornell (1-3, 0-3) next Saturday at the Brady Squash Center.
