Results from Constable Invitational

Eleven different Bulldogs won their first round matches in the Constable Tournament held at Princeton University. The Constable is the women's individual championships.

In the highest ladder, the Constable, all three Yalies advanced. Michelle Quibell defeated Paula Pearson 10-0, 9-7, 9-4. Quibell is the No. 2 seed at the tournament, behind No. 1 Amina Helal from Trinity who Quibell defeated in Yale's upset victory over the Bantams on Wednesday.

Frances Ho won a tight match over Larissa Stephenson, earning the 5-game victory by the score of 9-7, 3-9, 9-1, 8-10, 9-6, and Catherine McLeod defeated Isa Restrepo 10-8, 9-0, 9-1.

In the Princeton Championship 5.5 ladder, No. 3 Kate Rapisarda bested Princeton's Francie Comey 10-8, 9-1, 9-7, 10-8. Sarah Coleman defeated Annie Barrett 9-6, 9-3, 9-6, while Lauren Doline fell to Katy Brewster in a four-game match.

Devon Dalzell, Lindsay Schroll, and Abigail McDonough all swept their first round matches in thePrinceton Championship 4.5 bracket, and Kate Mandel, Ruth Kelley, and Abigail Epstein were victorious in the Princeton Championship 3.5's.
