No. 5 Bulldogs Fall to No. 1 Tigers 8-1

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The No. 5 Bulldogs lost to the No. 1 Tigers 8-1 Saturday at home at the Brady Squash Center. With the loss, Yale fell to 8-3 on the season.

Sophomore Logan Greer came up with the lone victory for Yale in the loss. Greer's victory came after the result of the match had already been decided. Greer defeated opponent Amanda Siebert 9-4, 9-3, 9-6 at No. 1 for the Bulldogs.

Both junior Alia Aziz and sophomore Sarah Toomey took games off of their opponents. Aziz lost 9-3, 9-4, 6-9, 9-3 at No. 3. Playing No. 2, Toomey lost 9-6, 4-9, 9-0, 9-3.

It was not the Bulldogs day though as the Tigers played outstanding squash in the victory.

Yale will host Brown next Saturday.
