NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Yale will look to improve to 7-1 this season when they take on No. 3 Trinity Wednesday in Hartford.
Last weekend, the Bulldogs defeated Cornell 7-2 in Ithaca. Previous to this victory, Yale had 9-0 victories over Amherst, Williams College, Dartmouth, Rochester, and Bowdoin College the weekend before. Yale's lone loss this season came against Penn in the season opener.
Trinity is currently 6-0 and ranked No. 3 in the nation. Trinity has yet to drop a game in wins over Stanford, Tufts, Amherst, Williams, Brown, and Dartmouth.
The Bulldogs faced the Bantams twice last season. Yale defeated Trinity 6-3 in the regular season before ousting Trinity 5-4 in the Howe Cup third place game.
Ivy League Scrimmage
The Bulldogs finished in fourth place at this year's Ivy League Scrimmage. After defeating Brown 9-0 in their opening match, the Bulldogs dropped their second round match to Penn 5-4. In its final match of the Scrimmage, Yale dropped a 5-4 decision to Princeton.
