March 22, 2005

Michelle Quibell was named Ivy League Player of the Year and three other Elis were named to the 2005 All-Ivy women's squash lineup after the Bulldogs powered to their second straight national championship.

Quibell, who defeated Harvard freshman Kyla Grigg in the finals of the CSA Individual Championship, earned top honors for the second year in a row. For her efforts, Grigg was named Rookie of the Year.

Also joining Quibell on the squad were three other members of the national championship women's team. Junior Amy Gross and sophomore Catherine McLeod, both of whom were also part of last year's championship team, were also named All-Ivy, as was newcomer Miranda Ranieri.

Yale posted an undefeated season for the second straight year, winning the national championship and the Howe Cup. It was also Quibell's second straight singles national championship.
