2011-2012 (Junior): Won the Heaton High Point Award for scoring the highest number of possible points during dual meet competition... Before Yale: Spent the first two years of high school at Fox Lane in Bedford, N.Y., and then finished up at Rocky Hill in East Greenwich, R.I… Swam solely for her club team Attleboro Bluefish… Qualified three times for the National Junior Team… Placed in the top eight at the World Championship Trials (2009) in both the 200-meter butterfly and the 100-meter butterfly… Won three individual bronze medals during career… Took bronze in the 200-meter butterfly at the 2006 World Cup… In 2007, took bronze in the 100 meter butterfly at the Junior National Championships… In 2008, took bronze at the Charlotte Grand Prix in the 100-yard butterfly… With club team, won Gold at the U.S. National Championships in 2009 for the 400-meter medley relay… 200- and 400-meter medley relays also set national age group records in 2008 and 2009, respectively… Also won a bronze as a member of the 2007 USA Junior National Team in 800-meter free relay at the Junior Pan Pacific Championships.

Personal: Member of Berkeley College… Humanities major… Mother, Cynthia Plaisted Forrester, graduated from Yale in 1977 and as a swimmer was a former U.S. National team member… Father, Gordon Forrester, graduated from Strathclyde University in Scotland… Has one sister, Lynn Ann Forrester, who rows crew at Brown University.
