  • Yale Beats Southern Connecticut

    The Yale women’s swimming and diving team had an incredibly successful meet on Thursday against Southern Connecticut. In all but one individual event, two Bulldogs swam. In all but that same event, the Bulldogs finished first and second.
  • Bulldogs Ready for Southern Connecticut

    For the first time in almost a month, the Yale women’s swimming and diving team will be competing in a dual meet on Thursday. Although it is not a home meet, the Bulldogs will be swimming in New Haven, as they face Southern Connecticut State University.
  • US Winter Nationals Conclude on Saturday

    The 2018 US Winter Nationals concluded on Saturday night, as six members of the Yale women’s swimming and diving team competed in their final events of the meet.
  • Four Swimmers Compete on Second Day

    Swimmers from the Yale women’s swimming and diving team swam well at the second day of the 2018 US Winter Nationals. Juniors Kendall Brent and Lili Margitai, senior Destiny Nelson and first-year Raime Jones each competed in one event on Thursday.

    Eight members of the Yale women’s swim team will be traveling to Greensboro, N.C., this week to compete in the 2018 US Winter Nationals. For these eight Bulldogs, it will be their first long course meet of the season.
  • Bulldogs Claim Fifth on Final Day

    The Yale women’s swimming and diving team completed the third and final day of the Ohio State Invitational on Saturday. The team held on to fifth place, finishing the competition with 1175.5 points.
  • Yale Performs Well at Second Day of Invitational

    The Yale women’s swimming and diving team completed the second day of the Ohio State Invitational on Friday. Through two days of competition, the Bulldogs have scored 819.5 points and currently sit in fifth place.
  • Hindley Breaks Record on First Day of Invitational

    The Yale women’s swimming and diving team completed the first day of the Ohio State Invitational on Thursday. While the team was successful in Thursday night’s finals, there was a record-breaking swim in the prelims: senior Bella Hindley set a new Yale women’s swimming record in the 50-yard freestyle. She swam the race in 22.23 seconds, breaking her own record, which she had established in Feb. 2017, by 0.02 seconds.

    The Yale women’s swimming and diving team had an incredibly successful home opener on Friday. Facing a fellow undefeated team in Columbia, Yale recorded the fastest times in every single swimming event, winning by a score of 205-90.

    The Yale women’s swimming and diving team is set to host Columbia this Friday at 5:00 p.m. It will be the first home meet of the year for the Bulldogs.

    The Yale women’s swimming and diving team took home their first victory on Friday night. Facing Brown in their first matchup of the season, the Bulldogs won the meet 160-140.
  • First-Years Carry Bulldogs to Second Victory

    The Yale women’s swimming and diving team won against MIT on Saturday morning, securing its second victory in as many days. In a meet not as tightly contested as Friday evening’s meet, Yale swimmers recorded the top time in every single event, and the Bulldogs won 196-81.
  • Bulldogs Ready to Begin Season

    In search of their third consecutive undefeated regular season, the Yale women's swimming and diving team will begin regular-season competition this weekend. The team will travel to Providence, R.I., for a meet against Brown on Friday. Following the season-opener, the Bulldogs will travel to Cambridge, Mass., for a meet against MIT on Saturday morning.
  • Bulldogs Compete at Summer Championships

    Five incoming first years competed at national events this past week. Alessandra Baldari, Izzi Henig, Raime Jones and Olivia Paoletti all competed at the 2018 Speedo Junior National Championships in Irvine, Calif. On the opposite coast, Ali Truwit competed at the 2018 International Swim Coaches Association (ISCA) Summer Senior Championship in St. Petersburg, Fla.
  • HYP Meet Highlights 2018-2019 Schedule

    In 2018-2019, the Yale women’s swimming and diving team will aim to complete its third consecutive undefeated regular season. The team will be coached by Robert J.H. Kiphuth Head Coach of Men's and Women's Swimming Diving Jim Henry and head diving coach Chris Bergère. Associate head coach Kyle Schack will be returning for his second year with the team, and assistant coach Kevin Norman will be returning for his ninth season. The four coaches will be joined by the team’s newest assistant coach, Molly Chamberlain.
