Hindley Finishes Strong at NCAA Championships

AUSTIN, Texas -- Bella Hindley of the Yale women's swimming and diving team competed in the 100-yard freestyle on the final day of the NCAA Division I Swimming and Diving Championships. Hindley finished 29th in the event.

Hindley swam the event in 48.89 seconds. Earlier this year, she set a personal record and Ivy League Championship meet record in the event, touching in 47.85 seconds.

Throughout three days at the NCAA Division I Championships, Hindley finished 20th, 29th and 44th in the 50-yard freestyle, 100-yard freestyle and 100-yard backstroke, respectively. The senior Bulldog did not record any personal records at the meet, but, nonetheless, put together a strong performance to cap off an incredible, record-breaking season.
