Emily Cole

Emily is a distance swimmer from Kenilworth, Ill. Since the age of eight, she has swum with the New Trier Swim Club. She attended New Trier High School, and in her four-year high school career, helped her team to a state title (her most memorable swimming experience to date), was a three-time All American and was team captain her senior year. She has also enjoyed swimming at the NSCA Junior Nationals and was a USA Swimming Scholastic All American. Emily was attracted to Yale because of its academic and athletic excellence. She's planning on majoring in psychology, and when she's not in class or in the pool, enjoys friends, photography, and hopes to continue coaching Special Olympics.
