Brenna began swimming at age 5 for her summer swim league and
started club the same year. Overcoming her idiosyncrasies of going
in circles and forgetting that elbows must be bent in order to pull
against the water, she has become a competitive backstroker and
IMer. She has finished top 8 her freshman and sophomore years at
the Ivy League Championships in the 100 and 200 back. Last year she
was also top 8 in the 200 IM. Her proudest moment was dropping ten
seconds in the 400 IM at the Wisconsin State Championships to win
the event. Later at the same meet, she won the 200 IM along with
the High Point trophy. Brenna is also the Crazy Eights Champion in
a series with her brother, but was humiliated by the same in poker.
As an economics major with a heavy concentration in math, she looks
forward to taking a class on Game Theory to rectify this situation.
