Sara Fracapane

Before coming to Yale, Sara swam with her club team, the New Jersey Wave, for 12 years and was selected as team co-captain in her senior year of high school. A distance swimmer she qualified for the Speedo Championships for the first time when she was 14 years old in both the 500 and 1650 yd. freestyle.

Sara chose to attend Yale because of the incredible opportunities offered through the academic and athletic programs, as well as a Yalies' tendency to be happier than other college students. She is excited to be a member of such a supportive swim team and looks forward to a challenging year.
