Hailing from Basking Ridge, N.J., Katelyn is a lifetime member of Berkeley Aquatic Club swimming under head coach Jim Wood where she has competed in meets at sectional and national levels. She lettered all four years at Ridge High School and was a county and conference champion in the 100 fly. While graduating among the top five in her class, she was also twice named a Scholastic All-American by USA Swimming, as well as an AP and Bloustein Scholar.
Following in the footsteps of her older brothers, Katelyn began swimming at seven years old. Her oldest brother Brian swam for Yale and graduated in 2001, while her brother Jason graduated from Brown University in the same year as captain of the swim team.
While at Yale Katelyn has contributed in the butterfly events and sprint freestyle events in the ECAC Championships and Ivy League Championships. She is a psychology major with plans to pursue her doctorate in clinical psychology.
Outside of swimming, Katelyn enjoys running and cycling with her dad. She loves music, the beach, and her dogs Jordan and Madeline.
