2008 Lucos placed 5th in the 200-yard buterfly at Ivys, 9th in the
200-yard freestyle, and 17th in the 200-yard IM. High school: Lucos lettered in
all four years of swimming at Cypress Bay High School. In 2007, she
was captain of her high school team. She placed top 8 in the
100-yard butterfly, 200-yard IM, and the 200-yard freestyle, as
well as in the relays. Personal: Lucos is in Jonathon
Edwards College. She plans to major in Political Science. Her dad
George Lucos runs a construction business and her mom Sherrie is an
English teacher at Cypress Bay, and she has one younger sister
Marisa who is a sophomore at Cypress Bay. Why I chose Yale: "I chose
Yale because I clicked with the team, I loved the environment of
the school, and really enjoyed the personalities of the residential
colleges."
