|High School:||The Hockaday School|
High School: Watters swam for The Hockaday School. She lettered all four years for her varsity swim team, while swimming the 100-yard breaststroke and 200-yard freestyle. Individually, she was first-team All-SPC (four years), as well as All-Conference (four years). Academically, she was cum laude, a National Merit Finalist, Founder's Day Award winner, Sudie Duncan Award winner, Senior Class President and managing editor of the yearbook. Personal: Watters is in Branford College. She is undecided on a major and a career path. In her free time, she enjoys reading, travelling, watching TV, and listening to music. During the summers, she was a swim coach for Lakewood Country Club. Her father John attended Santa Clara University where he played varsity football and boxing. Her mother Donna attended Yale University where she played varsity field hockey. Meaghan is the oldest of five kids, four of whom swim. Why I Choose Yale: "I choose Yale for its blend of academic difficulty with a strong swimming program and also for the camaraderie that the residential college system inspires."
