The Elis defeated Penn by just one point, besting the Quakers 150.5-149.5 while also beating Dartmouth. Chase Butler, Christina Hession, and Moira McCloskey all won multiple events in the Bulldog victory.
Hession earned first place in the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 10:14.43 and also came in first in the 500-yard free with a time of 5:02.08.
In 200-yard freestyle, Butler's time of 1:54.07 was good for the victory, and narrowly beat Penn's Katie Stores as well as Hession, who finished third. Butler's other win came in the 100-yard freestyle, where she tied Store's time of 53.40.
McCloskey swam to a 58.33 finish in the 100-yard backstroke and a 2:04.46 time in the 200-yard event, earning top standings in both.
Other individual winners for the Elis were Daphna Shafir in the 200-yard butterfly and Becca Knicely in the 100-yard butterfly. Melanie Loftus won the 3-meter diving competition, while Kathleen McKeon earned top honors in the 1-meter event.
